Fun fact: our coordinator, Samantha, started out in the cosmetic sales industry. Not only is she fully certified, but her talent is what helped her break into the wedding industry. When it comes to makeup, you name it – she’s done it. From selling every kind of moisturizer through Clinique to brushing the faces of Prom Queens and Brides, Samantha can do it all. Today, Samantha’s sharing some of her tips with us on the blog! Here are Samantha’s 7 makeup must haves:
#1 Estee Lauder DayWear Anti-Oxidant BB Cream // “In my opinion, nothing is worse than caked on foundation! This is a multi tasking BB cream that’s got moisture, sunscreen, AND evens skintone! Win-Win!”
#2 Lancome Aquatique Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer // “As far as I’m concerned, this is the only shadow primer around. It’s waterproof, doesn’t crease, and makes your shadows more vibrant! Not to mention it comes in 5 different tones.”
#3 Bliss Fabulips Sugar Lip Scrub // “Nothing is grosser than dead lip skin getting stuck in your vampy oxblood lipstick! Before putting on your lipstick for a night out, scrub those babies with this lip scrub! “
#4 Ipsy Glambag Subscription // “A ton of my new favorite products come from Ipsy, for $10/month you get to try around 5 new products each month! Most of them are full size, and they come in a cute cosmetic bag! And when you love a product, you can order it at a discount!”
#5 Clarins Self Tanning Milk // “Us pale girls need a little help sometimes! Clarins has THE BEST self tanning products! This is a gradual tanning milk, and it also comes with SPF. Yet another win-win! Don’t forget to pick up a self tanning mitt to apply the product to get the most even tan and avoid the orange-stained hands!”
#6 Nyx Matte Lipstick // “Especially for trendier lipstick colors that you’re not sure you can pull off, you can’t pass up a $6 lipstick! It’s creamy with a matte finish. I probably have like 12 different shades! “
