TIP NO. 1: MAKE A LIST
Every successful plan has one thing in common: a checklist, a to-do list, a list of reminders… you get it. We love lists. If you’re feeling overwhelmed about what to bring to your wedding weekend, just start with a pen and paper and we promise you will feel much better!
TIP NO. 2: CATEGORIZE
Instead of having a list of 101 things to bring to your wedding weekend, we suggest categorizing and breaking it down into several smaller lists. For example, you would have a list for “Things to bring to the rehearsal” which would include Bridal Party gifts, flower girl baskets, marriage license, programs, etc. Another section would be “Things to bring to the venue” which would be all of your paper products, your card box, guest book, and any other decor. Having a few smaller list is a little bit less daunting and will be much easier to cross off.

TIP NO. 3: PACK AHEAD OF TIME
Pack whatever you can ahead of time – Things like your wedding bands, shoes, marriage license, and anything else you won’t be using the days before you leave. Then, make another list for things to pack right before you leave – Phone charger, toothbrush, pajamas, and all of the things you aren’t able to pack ahead of time!
TIP NO. 4: DON’T FORGET THE DETAILS
Add everything to your list. Especially if you’re also packing for your honeymoon, even the “no brainer” items like socks & underwear need to be on your list!

TIP NO. 5: ACTUALLY CHECK THINGS OFF
The best way to make sure you don’t forget anything is to print the list and actually check things off once they’re physically in your suitcase. Saying in your mind “okay, got that” is very different from actually packing it and crossing it off the list, and trust us, we’ve learned the hard way. This way, before you leave you can scan your list and feel 100% confident that you’ve got everything.
