Crate and Barrel X 100 Layer Cake Private Registry Event

A few weeks ago, you have seen us jet-setting off to California to produce an amazing Private Registry Event with Crate and Barrel and 100 Layer Cake! We had the luxury of working alongside an absolutely amazing team at the brand’s South Coast Plaza Store in Orange County as engaged couples built their registries amongst tons of inspiration! Today, we are bursting with excitement to share these gorgeous photos from Heather Kincaid Photography!

Couples were welcomed in for a VIP shopping experience before the store opened to the public. They were met with a little morning bourbon punch from the very talented mixologists at Pharmacie before getting a quick tutorial on the registry app and a private tour of the store and popular registry areas from a member of the Crate and Barrel store team.

There was certainly no shortage of inspiration and gorgeousness as the ladies of 100 Layer Cake put their magic touch on the store and gave some of our all-time favorite Crate pieces a little wedding spruce. From styled bars showcasing popular stemware collections to chandeliers dripping in blooms, the collaboration of two trend-setting brands was truly magical, and almost made us want to plan a wedding for our clients inside of a Crate and Barrel store (hey, never say never!) LA-based Ro & Co Events worked alongside Of the Flowers to style two fabulously charismatic tables with some of Crate’s current dinnerware, stemware, and furniture pieces and all we can say is they truly had us California Dreamin’!

Room Forty wow’d guests with an interactive sensory station where the Chefs built modern brunch bites that truly looked more like artwork, (heads up to anyone engaged in Cali, they also have an amazing venue in LA and another about to open in Orange County!) and Sheila Mae Cakes handed out the most delicious (and beautiful) sweets we’ve seen!

From live music to stunning gowns, bridesmaids dresses, and even suits and accessories from our friends at The Black Tux, this was certainly 2 hours not to miss for any engaged couples. We even pulled a vintage VW bus straight into the store for the best photo op!

And as if the morning could have gotten any better, we ended with an absolutely huge giveaway! Couples literally screamed with excitement as we popped confetti and announced the winners of a honeymoon to Hawaii, $1,000 to shop at Crate, and even a full wedding giveaway with services from all of the amazing vendors who helped put on the event!

We cannot say thank you enough to our amazing partners at Crate and Barrel for trusting us with yet another fabulous event, to the store team who put in countless hours of preparation and did so excitedly, and to the ladies of 100 Layer Cake and all of the incredibly talented people who helped make this morning as successful as it was, we were truly sad to board the plane back to Chicago and we hope to head west to work alongside you again very soon!
