Happy New Year!
Personally, I love the month of January. Coming off the excitement of the holidays, it’s a time to reflect on the happenings of the previous year, but also clear your mind as you enter into a fresh year with endless possibilities.
Here at Team SG, we are truly humbled by all of the incredible weddings and events we’ve been a part of in 2016, and all of the amazing couples and individuals we had the privilege to get to know. You are the continued inspiration behind what we do, and as we enter into the new year, I am excited to share with you some of my favorite moments from 2016, both personal and professional, as well as a peek into all that is to come in 2017!
Favorite Memories of 2016:
- Team SG led more couples than ever through the planning of their weddings in 2016 and expanded into the corporate environment as well, including many in store and private events for our favorite brand, Crate and Barrel!
- I had the opportunity to sit on the board of Wish Upon a Wedding Chicago alongside many fellow-Chicago planners who inspired me to continue giving back and putting goodness into the world.
- Last fall, I had the opportunity to speak to students at DePaul University (alongside DePaul grad and SG’s very own Breanna!) and the Macoupin County CEO program; inspiring future entrepreneurs and business elite!
- I spent a week exploring the fabulousness of Greece!
- Personally, my husband and I announced the arrival of Baby Clemonds in June 2017!
Anticipated Moments of 2017:
- Our website is undergoing a bit of a facelift this month! With new photos of our most recent events and many exciting new additions, we are eager to share the updates!
- Our coveted SG Blog is becoming even more accessible with editorial-inspired content curated specifically to those who follow our brand. From those dreaming of an engagement, currently planning a wedding, or simply looking for a great recipe, lifestyle tip , or style inspiration, we will have it all! Better yet – you can now subscribe to receive the scoop straight to your inbox!
- We are looking forward to our continued work with Crate and Barrel and are kicking off the 2017 season with Private Registry Plus Events across the country this January-March! If you live in the area, make sure to RSVP to our North and Clybourn event on January 22nd!
And with that, it’s time to tackle my to do list and all that 2017 has to offer! Cheers to another fabulous year from Team SG to you!
