1. Thompson Hotel [Gold Coast]
This has got to be one of the most amazing boutique hotels we’ve ever stepped foot in. The lobby is super swanky, and the guest rooms are clean and beautiful. Be sure to make a stop at their restaurant, Nico Osterio!
2. Public Hotel [Gold Coast]
Also in the Gold Coast, the Public Hotel is the perfect spot to prep for your wedding. The light, airy guest rooms soak in amazing natural light for your photos (your photographer will love that!) and the lobby/restaurant is perfect for entertaining guests. And a must-try is one of the “in” places in Chicago right now, Pump Room.
3. theWit [Downtown Loop]
This is not only the home of Shannon’s December 2014 wedding, but it’s also in the heart of the loop, less than 1 block away from both the Chicago Riverwalk and the Chicago Theater! The shopping and restaurants available within blocks of theWit are endless. If you’re looking for a convenient bite to eat, be sure to head downstairs to State and Lake Tavern for some live music, good food, and great drinks! And if you’re looking for some fun, head up to ROOF!
4. Hotel Lincoln [Lincoln Park]
Can you tell we have a thing for boutique hotels? Guest rooms boast sweeping views of Lincoln Park and Lake Michigan, and give guests the “true Chicago experience.” Their rooftop bar, J. Parker, is a MUST, whether it’s for a few glasses of Prosecco, or just to snap an Instagram of the ridiculous view of the city and Lake Michigan.
